Calhoun Pankowski

Melissa Calhoun Pankowski has worked
with individuals, associations, small and large groups and
companies nationally and internationally.
She is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with over 15
years experience in geriatric and Hospice populations. Her
educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree
in Psychology from UC Davis, RCFE Certification, Certification
in Grief Ministry and Certification by the American Senior
Fitness Association as a Long Term Care Fitness Leader.
She is the president of the Marin Association of Senior Strength
Trainers and is also an active member of the American Society
on Aging. She is an appointed Commissioner for the Marin County
Commission on Aging and serves on the board of the Elder Care
Advocates of Marin.
She is a popular motivational speaker who lectures and educates
on topics including creative aging, wellness, fitness, personal
and group effectiveness, care giving, therapeutic activities,
grief and loss, and related subjects.
Currently with the Cooperative Healing Center, Melissa is
working with clients individually providing grief support,
transition coaching and completion work as well as with individuals
and businesses creating Positive Strategies surrounding personal
and corporate effectiveness; staff retention; grief and loss;
wellness; fitness; creative aging.
