Kathy Laurenhue is CEO of Wiser Now, Inc. named after her international, award-winning monthly newsletter for Alzheimer’s caregivers which was first published in the 1990’s and has been recently updated and made available as an online, downloadable publication. She also produces the online subscription “Brain Aerobics Weekly.” For the last 15+ years, multimedia curriculum development related to aging issues and giving interactive training seminars to clients throughout the US and Australia have been her particular strengths. She is also the author of three books: Alzheimer’s Basic Caregiving – an ABC Guide and its companion, Activities of Daily Living – an ADL Guide for Alzheimer’s Care,  plus Getting to Know the Life Stories of Older Adults: activities for building relationships.  Her website is www.wisernow.com.
Kathy has a master’s degree in instructional technology and an undergraduate degree in English and journalism. She is known for work that is practical and light-hearted, with inspiration coming from her ever-cheerful mother, who died of Alzheimer’s disease many years ago.
