This is a course on pain management for administrators
and caregivers in assisted living and residential care facilities.
You will learn methods of identifying pain your
residents are experiencing, especially those with dementia who are unable to communicate very well. You will learn the interventions and treatments
available to help the elderly with their pain management.
Understanding pain and the law is significant in Assisted
Living today. You will learn how to improve the quality of life in
your community by applying successful pain management techniques in your everyday program.
